Publications

People thought that the internet would kill print media.
Magazines and newspapers fought back, while embracing a hybrid approach.
I enjoy taking pictures for both printed and digital publications.
It is particularly enjoyable to collaborate with a team of writers and creatives, to
bring to life a nice cover story.

Austin Woman Magazine, May/June 2016. This issue will always be incredibly special to me, as it marked the final printed issue of AWM. The team behind it was amazing, and everyone worked incredibly hard to make this cover shoot feel effortless and easygoing. Chiaka is an extraordinary talent in so many ways, and in front of the camera, she is an absolute natural. She knows her angles instinctively, moves with confidence, and has that rare ability to make every pose feel effortless and editorial. Her impeccable styling was brought to life by the incredibly talented Empress Bey, whose eye and creative touch elevated every look. The day was intense, fast-paced, and incredibly rewarding. Photographed at Dottiewoods Studio in Austin, Texas, with Halie Ramirez as editor of the issue.
